Shipping within Germany

Austria and other EU countries
The following weight brackets apply to regular parcel shipments to Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands:
- Up to 2 kg: €14.49
- Over 2 to 5 kg: €17.49
- Over 5 to 10 kg: €22.49
- Over 10 to 20 kg: €28.49
- Over 20 to 30 kg: €45.49
Switzerland
The stored base rates for regular parcel shipments are:
- Up to 2 kg: €19.49
- Over 2 to 5 kg: €26.99
- Over 5 to 10 kg: €34.99
- Over 10 to 20 kg: €48.99
- Over 20 to 30 kg: €62.99
For deliveries to Switzerland, Swiss VAT and courier fees may apply upon import. These are paid by the recipient at the time of delivery.
If you order in a different currency, the checkout shows the converted shipping amount.
Ordering multiple items
Shipping costs depend on the total weight, delivery country, and the shipping profiles of your selection. For items from different shipping profiles, the shipping costs may be added together. You will see the full shipping amount in the checkout before final confirmation of the order.
When will my item arrive?
Available items are usually ready to ship within 4–5 business days. Within Germany, the parcel is then usually in transit for 1–2 business days. The date shown on the product page is an estimated arrival date for Germany. International orders may take longer to deliver. As soon as your parcel is with the shipping carrier, you will receive tracking information.
Pickup and large items
For items marked "Pickup only", parcel shipping is not possible. You will pick up your item at Wennegrund 20, 57392 Schmallenberg/Niederberndorf by appointment. Please arrange a suitable vehicle for large items.
For shippable bulky goods, the above-mentioned rate applies within Germany. International delivery is not available for a flat rate. Please inquire before purchase whether an individual delivery quote is available for the specific item.

Honesty is more important than grand promises when it comes to vintage. That is why we are introducing the Pezold Object Passport as a standard feature for our vintage pieces.
What the Object Passport shows
- Period or estimated age
- Manufacturer, signature or brand
- Material and full dimensions
- Condition rating, as well as specific signs of wear and defects
- Functional check, if relevant to the object
- Known provenance, without presenting assumptions as facts
- Shipping class and scope of delivery
Not every piece of information can be reliably determined for older items. We omit missing facts or mark them as "unknown". Where possible, we show brands, signatures and relevant defects in close-up photographs.

Does the piece really look like the photos?
Yes. We photograph every piece ourselves, some cut out against a neutral background. Additional images may show the piece in a styled setting – for condition, marks and details, the original photos are what counts. Want a closer look at a particular spot? We are happy to send another photo before you buy, also via WhatsApp.
What if something breaks in transit?
We pack each piece carefully to suit its material and shape. For delivery questions, contact us personally at info@vintage-antik.shop or via WhatsApp. If there is a problem, photos of the piece and packaging help us resolve it promptly. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Can I return a piece?
Yes. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from receipt – a short message is enough. You bear the cost of returning the item. Full details in our cancellation policy.
Is there a warranty on second-hand items?
Yes, the statutory warranty also applies to used items. Signs of age and use that we describe and show are part of a vintage piece’s character.
How can I pay?
You pay in our encrypted checkout, for example with PayPal, Klarna, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Available methods may vary by country and device.
When will my parcel arrive?
Your piece is expected to arrive within Germany in 5–7 working days, including preparation and transit. For advance payment, delivery time starts after receipt of payment. For other countries, see Shipping & delivery. Collection-only items are not shipped.
Can I collect in person?
Yes. Choose “Pickup” at checkout – no shipping costs apply. We will contact you to arrange a time in 57392 Schmallenberg, Germany. Some large pieces such as furniture are collection only – this is stated on the item.
